Standard shops are built for standard products: choose a size, add to cart, pay. But what if your product consists of dependent options — if price, delivery time and availability depend on the combination of material, dimensions, colour and accessories the customer picks?

A product configurator makes complex products orderable. Customers see in real time which options are available, what they cost and what the result looks like. No enquiry forms, no follow-up questions, no manual calculation by your sales team — the configurator calculates instantly and delivers a binding price.

We build configurators that start from the product logic. The calculation rules aren't hard-coded but stored as structured data in the CMS back end. Your team changes prices, adds options or disables variants — without a developer. Rules like "if material X is selected, only colours A, B and C are available" are handled through dependent fields.

Technically we work with React front ends that update the calculation in real time on every change, and back-end logic that passes the configured item with all its parameters straight to checkout (Stripe or your existing shop system). For visual configurators we build image-switching systems that update the product image for every option.

Typical product categories for configurators: handmade goods with material and size options (jewellery, paracord, leather). Furniture and interiors with dimensions, fabric and colour choices. The technical difference from "just a few dropdowns": a real configurator models dependencies between options. If material A is chosen, only certain colours are available. Delivery time changes with quantity. An accessory is only compatible with certain base products. These rules are maintained as structured data in the CMS back end — your team changes prices and options without a developer.

Prices: simple configurators with three to five independent options: from €3,500 with two to three weeks of development. Complex configurators with dependent options, visual preview and tiered pricing: from €6,000 with four to eight weeks.
