GoMedics — Medical technology website

SEO-optimised website with a multilingual CMS for a medical technology company

Medizintechnik, DACH20268 weeks

GoMedics is a medical technology company specialising in innovative healthcare solutions. The goal of the project: a professional, SEO-optimised website that speaks to doctors and clinics as well as to consumers — with multilingual content management for the DACH market.

The website runs on our proven stack: Next.js for fast load times and server-side rendering, Payload CMS so the GoMedics team can edit content easily, and Vercel hosting for maximum availability. A special focus was on medical communication — product descriptions that both specialists and patients understand.

A core part of the project is the SEO strategy for medical technology: Schema.org MedicalDevice markup, E-E-A-T-optimised author profiles with medical expertise, and a content architecture optimised for Google as well as AI-assisted health searches.

Challenge

GoMedics previously had a static website without a CMS that only an external developer could update. Every text change or new product page required a developer job — with waiting times of days to weeks. The site wasn't mobile-friendly, had no SEO foundation and didn't appear on Google or in AI search for relevant medical technology terms.

A multilingual solution was missing as well: GoMedics serves clients in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, so it needed at least German and English — with the option to add more languages without structural changes.

Approach

We built a completely new website on Next.js and Payload CMS. The CMS back end lets the GoMedics team create and maintain product pages, blog posts and expert articles on their own — no developer skills needed. Multilingual support uses the existing i18n architecture (next-intl), so content is managed independently per language.

For SEO, we implemented Schema.org markup for medical products, built a content structure with a pillar page for each product category, and added an FAQ section designed for Google featured snippets and citations in AI answers. Technical SEO (Core Web Vitals, image optimisation, sitemap) was part of the plan from day one.
