In short

A company website for Austria and Germany needs German texts written for the market, a legal notice (Impressum), a GDPR privacy policy that matches the technology used, consent before any tracking, accessibility for online sales to consumers and German SEO. EA Digital Solutions in Graz delivers all of it as one package, at a fixed price, working with you in English.

What the German-speaking market expects

  • A real German-language website

Not a machine translation of the English site: texts in the formal address customers here expect, local phone number or contact person, prices in euros, terms that match the market.

  • Legal notice (Impressum)

Company websites in Austria and Germany must name the company, address, register entry and contact details. A missing or incomplete Impressum is a common reason for warning letters in Germany.

  • GDPR privacy policy and consent

The privacy policy has to describe the tools the site actually uses. Analytics, ads pixels, embedded maps and videos may only load after the visitor agrees, with “reject” as easy as “accept”.

  • No third-party fonts or trackers by default

Fonts are hosted on your own server; anything that sends data to third parties waits for consent.

  • Accessibility for online sales

Since 28 June 2025, online shops and bookings for consumers fall under the European Accessibility Act (BaFG in Austria, BFSG in Germany).

  • Transparent AI

If your site uses a chatbot or AI-generated content, the EU AI Act requires telling people they are dealing with AI.

  • Findable locally

German keywords, a Google Business Profile per location, reviews and Google Ads in German. Search behaviour here differs from the Gulf and from English-speaking markets.

One package, five steps

  1. 1

    Free first call

30 minutes: your plans for Austria and Germany, your current website, what is missing. Afterwards you get a fixed price.

  2. 2

    German website

We localise your existing site or build a new one, fast and secure, with texts written for this market.

  3. 3

Legal pages from the real setup

Impressum, privacy policy and consent are derived from the technology the site actually uses. We recommend a review by a lawyer in Austria or Germany before go-live and coordinate it with you.

  4. 4

    Launch

Google Business Profile, German SEO, Google Ads campaign and conversion tracking that respects consent.

  5. 5

    Ongoing care

Updates, security, new content and reporting in English, so your head office always sees what happens.

We build our own websites to the same rules: consent before any tracking, privacy policy derived from the code, fonts on our own server.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a company in Austria or Germany for this?

Not for the website itself. The Impressum names the company that runs the site, which can be your existing company abroad. Whether you need a local entity for sales, tax or employment is a question for a tax adviser; we can recommend contacts.

Is translating our English website enough?

Rarely. Customers here expect the formal German address, local contact details and terms they know. On top of that come the legal pages and consent, which an English site from outside the EU usually does not have in this form.

Do you give legal advice?

No. We build the technology and derive the legal texts from it accurately, and we recommend a review by a lawyer before go-live. That keeps the texts correct and the responsibility clear.

Can we work with you in English?

Yes. Calls, offers, reports and support are in English; the website texts are written in German for the market. Graz and the Gulf are one to three hours apart, so working hours overlap well.

And the other way round, into the Gulf?

For Austrian and German companies entering the Gulf we work with partners for Arabic content. Tell us about your plans in the first call.
