Where you are
Does this sound familiar?
The idea and first customers are there, but nobody builds the software
You know your market and your customers. What is missing is someone who turns the idea into a product, without you having to learn to code.
The agency quote blows your budget
The quote is planned as if the first version had to do everything. For a first test with real customers you usually need only a fraction of it.
The freelancer is gone and nobody can find the code
Someone else holds the access, there is no documentation, and every change becomes a puzzle. That should not happen again.
An investor or funding body wants to see a demo
Slides are no longer enough. You need something clickable that shows how your product works, and soon.
Services
What we build for startups
Clickable prototype: show the idea before any code is written
For your pitch, for conversations with potential customers or for a funding application. A low-cost test of whether people understand your idea the way you mean it.
MVP: the first version for real, paying customers
Only the features without which nobody pays. Sign-up, payments or an admin area are added only if your business model really needs them.
After launch: extend instead of rebuilding
We keep building on the same foundation once you know what your customers want. Monthly support is available if you like.
Approach
Build less, learn faster: how we keep the scope small
The most expensive feature is the one nobody uses. That is why we agree on what belongs in the first version before a single line of code is written.
Must, could, later
Every idea goes on one of three lists. Only what is on "must" goes into the first version.
One core question per version
Each version should answer one question, for example: do customers sign up? Do they pay? Do they come back?
Measuring points from the start
We build in what tells you whether the answer is yes or no, so your next decision is based on numbers from your own product.
Technology in plain words
Technology decisions, explained clearly
The technology your product runs on, the so-called tech stack, determines cost, speed and how easily someone else can continue the work later. We explain what a decision means for your budget and your plans, not which tool happens to be in fashion.
We use proven, widely used technology instead of experiments. That way you will easily find developers who know it later on.
Who owns the code?
You do. Code, servers, domain and payment provider accounts belong to your startup. It is in the contract, so you can show it straight away when investors check later.
What happens when you build your own team later?
Then we hand over properly: with documentation, access and an introduction for your team. You are not tied to us.
Connections
Payments, customer management and accounting connected from day one
A product that earns money has to talk to other programs: the payment provider for subscriptions and one-off payments, customer management for enquiries and accounting for invoices. We connect these programs so data is entered only once.
AI in the product
AI in your product: when it helps and when it does not
AI is worth it when it solves a concrete problem for your customers, for example pre-sorting enquiries or reading documents. As a buzzword in the pitch alone it does not bring paying customers.
If a chatbot talks to your customers, it has had to identify itself as AI since 2 August 2026 (Art. 50 EU AI Act). We build that in from the start.
Prices
What you can expect to pay
| Smaller tools and prototypes | from €6,500 |
| MVP, typical range | €8,000–25,000 |
| Larger web apps | from €15,000 |
| Connection to payments, CRM, accounting | from €4,500 |
| AI features | from €2,500 |
We quote the fixed price after the free initial call, once it is clear what the first version needs to do.
What drives the price
- How many roles there are, for example customer, provider and admin
- Whether and how people pay: once, by subscription or by commission
- How many other programs need to be connected
- Whether AI features are part of it

- SFG Styria
For Styrian businesses, for example 30% of eligible costs, at most €2,500, from €3,000 project volume, once per calendar year.

A developer in Graz, as reachable as a co-founder
Adam Khalil founded EA Digital Solutions in Graz in 2019 and builds the software himself. You have direct contact, without detours via sales or project management. Meeting in person in Graz and Styria is easy, and working remotely works just as well, for startups in Vienna, across Austria and the DACH region.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What does software development for a startup cost?
At EA Digital Solutions, smaller tools and prototypes start from €6,500 and larger web apps from €15,000. An MVP typically costs between €8,000 and €25,000. Connections to payments, CRM or accounting start from €4,500. In the free initial call we work out what the first version really needs, then we quote a fixed price.
What is the difference between a prototype and an MVP?
A prototype shows how your product should look and work, usually as a clickable model without real data. An MVP is the first real version that paying customers can use. The prototype tests, at low cost, whether people understand your idea. The MVP tests whether they are willing to pay for it.
Who owns the code after the project?
You do. The code, server access and every account, for example for the domain or the payment provider, belong to your startup from day one, not to us. We put that in the contract. This lets you build your own team later or change providers without having to start over.
Do I need a technical co-founder?
Not to get started. For a prototype and a first version, an experienced developer who explains decisions clearly and writes them down is enough. In the long run, technical know-how inside your team pays off. That is why we build so that a future technical lead or in-house team can take the software over instead of rewriting it.
Is there funding for startup software in Austria?
Yes, depending on the project. The FFG Basisprogramm funds research and development projects with grants and loans, for start-ups up to 70 percent. aws funds digitalisation and AI projects, SFG supports Styrian businesses. You almost always have to apply before the project starts. We check which programme fits in the initial call (as of October 2026).
Do you only work with startups from Graz?
No. Our office is in Graz, so meeting in person anywhere in Styria is easy. Working remotely works just as well, with startups in Vienna, across Austria and in Germany. You always have direct contact with the developer who builds your software, so you get answers without detours.
