2. Hosting & infrastructure

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 Pine Street, Suite 701, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. When you access this website, your IP address and technical access data are processed by Vercel's servers. Vercel may process data on servers outside the European Union; an appropriate level of data protection is ensured by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a functional website).

Neon (Postgres database)

We use Neon (Neon, Inc.) as the PostgreSQL database hosting service. Form submissions and CMS content are stored there. Neon operates servers in the EU (AWS eu-central-1). For more information, see neon.tech/privacy.

3. Contact form & lead collection

When you submit a contact form on this website, we collect the following data:

  • First and last name (required)
  • Email address (required)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Your message / project description (required)
  • Page source (which page the form was submitted from)
  • UTM parameters (if present — for measuring campaign effectiveness)
  • Timestamp of submission

Purpose: Processing your inquiry, preparing a project offer, and subsequent communication.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent via the checkbox in the form) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

Retention period: Your data will be stored until your inquiry has been fully processed and any statutory retention obligations have expired, or until you request deletion.

Revocation: You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by emailing us at office@ea-digitalsolutions.at.

4. Partner application

When you submit a partner application, we additionally collect company name, industry, website URL, and a brief description of your activities. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). We process this data exclusively to evaluate and respond to your application.

5. Analytics

Umami Analytics

We use Umami (self-hosted), a cookie-free, privacy-friendly web analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not store personal data, and does not create user profiles. Only aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (page views, referrers, browser types) are collected. No IP addresses are stored. This tool is exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive.

Google Ads Conversion TrackingNOT YET ACTIVE

We reserve the right to use Google Ads conversion tracking in the future. When activated, this will only be done after explicit consent via a cookie consent banner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). At present, no Google Ads tracking is active on this website.

6. Cookies & Consent management

When you first visit this website, a cookie consent banner appears. It lets you accept or reject optional cookie categories individually.

Categories:

  • Strictly necessary: Session management, security, theme preference. Always active, no consent required (§ 165 TKG 2021).
  • Analytics (Umami): Cookie-free usage statistics. No personal data. Exempt from mandatory consent, but controllable via the banner.
  • Marketing (Google Ads): Not yet active. Will only be activated after your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Your consent decision is stored in your browser's local storage (not as a cookie). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the cookie icon (🍪) in the bottom-left corner of any page.

7. Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You have the right to have incorrect data about you corrected.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, insofar as no legal retention obligation conflicts with this.
  • Right to restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR): Under certain conditions, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time, insofar as the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR): You can withdraw your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future.
