fiber4net is a wholesaler for fibre-optic rollout. Orders come in from civil engineering firms and network operators; inventory management runs in Weclapp.

Everything in between was manual: line items retyped, customer-group prices looked up by hand, order confirmations and invoices assembled one at a time. With several hundred line items a month that costs time every day — and every typo only surfaces at the customer.

We connected the ordering flow straight to Weclapp. Every order creates a sales order with all line items, prices and customer data. A custom generator produces order confirmations and invoices in the company layout, QR codes travel with the picking process, and every order lands as a ticket in one place.

— Challenge

Orders arrived through the website, processing happened in the ERP. Neither system knew about the other: line items were retyped, volume prices per customer group looked up by hand, documents sent one by one.

That cost time every day and caused transfer errors that only surfaced at the customer — expensive for a wholesaler dealing in technical articles and minimum quantities.

— Approach

First we recorded the product range, the customer groups and the volume pricing, and wrote down the rules for discounts and minimum quantities.

After that everything ran through the Weclapp API: products, customers and sales orders in sync, every failed transfer in the log instead of silently gone. The ordering flow calculates prices live, generates QR codes for picking and sends the order confirmation automatically.

For invoices and documents we built a generator that reproduces the company layout cleanly and outputs print-ready PDFs. Every order also creates a ticket, so status, questions and back-orders come together in one place.
