Undercastle Cottage — Booking & Payment Sync

Undercastle Cottage marketed its holiday rental through its own Wix website, Airbnb and Booking.com at the same time — each with a separate calendar. Double bookings happened regularly, availability had to be maintained by hand in three systems, and payments ran through separate Stripe links with no automatic sync to the booking calendar. The owner (Sara) spent 1–2 hours a day maintaining calendars and confirming bookings.

We built a two-way synchronisation system that connects Wix Velo (the owner's website), Stripe (payments) and Lodgify (channel manager for Airbnb/Booking.com) in real time. As soon as a booking arrives on one platform, the dates are blocked on the others. Stripe payments trigger booking confirmations and calendar updates automatically. A queue ensures no booking is lost if an API goes down.
